Our mittens week was lots of fun.  It's been great having Jacob get so excited every week for the theme!  We read fun books and did some other activities.  Jacob is doing so well.  A lot of the time I wonder if I am not challenging him enough.  He already knows so much!  It just further confirms in my mind that learning doesn't have to be a strict drilling ritual - but can also be acquired through lots of play.  I am proud of my boy and happy that we get this time together.  

And we finished our first month of preschool!
